Optically clear, self-healing paint protection film — installed in our
shop, where a controlled, dust-free environment is the difference
between film that disappears and film you notice every day.
Coverage runs from a single panel to every painted surface on the car.

Estimate only. Final pricing depends on paint condition, trim, and
any prep work needed. We confirm in writing before any film goes on.
A single speck trapped under film is permanent and it's the first thing
you'll see every time you walk up to the car. Driveways have wind, pollen,
and road dust. Our shop doesn't.
Reason 02
Edges need to be wrapped, not trimmed short.
Film that stops short of an edge collects dirt in the gap and starts
lifting. Wrapping edges properly takes disassembly, heat, and time —
that's shop work, not driveway work.
Reason 03
The paint has to be perfect first.
Film magnifies whatever is underneath it. Every install starts with
decontamination and correction, because you're sealing that surface in
for years.

04 / PPF questions
Will I be able to see the film?
Installed correctly, no. Edges get wrapped around panels instead of
trimmed on the visible surface, so there's no line sitting in the
middle of your hood. On a full front there's no seam across the hood
at all — that's the main reason people step up from partial coverage.
What does "self-healing" actually mean?
The film's top coat is elastic. Light swirls and fine scratches close
up with heat — sun, warm water, or a heat gun. It does not repair deep
gouges that cut through the film, and it does not make the film
bulletproof against a large rock at highway speed.
Will it yellow?
Modern urethane film with a proper top coat doesn't yellow the way
older films did. Stek film carries a manufacturer warranty against
yellowing, cracking, and delamination — we'll walk you through the
exact terms for the product you choose before you book.
PPF or ceramic coating — do I need both?
They solve different problems. PPF is physical impact protection —
it stops rock chips. Ceramic coating is a chemical barrier that makes the
surface slick and easy to clean, but it won't stop a chip. A common
combination is film on the front end with ceramic coating over the whole car,
including on top of the film. If you'd rather protect everything,
we also film the whole car — and ceramic coating still goes over the top.
Can film be removed later?
Yes. Quality film comes off cleanly with heat and leaves the paint
underneath in the condition it was in when we applied it — which is
usually better than the rest of the car.
How long does the car stay with you?
It depends on the coverage. A front bumper or headlights is a much
shorter stay than a full front, and track pack and full-vehicle
coverage take longer again. We'll give you an exact window with your
quote, and we don't rush a job to hit it.
